Rates, insurance, & policies

Rates

Individual Sessions:  ($175-250)   

First Diagnostic Assessment Session: ($200-275)  

Insurance

Clients may request a receipt for services rendered which they may submit directly to their insurance carrier for any reimbursement directly to the client if eligible for out-of-network benefits.  


This practice is out of network with insurance plans; 

with the exception of some Aetna & Meritain- PPO plans.  


Sample questions that may be helpful to ask your insurance company:  

  • Do I have out of network mental health insurance benefits? 
  • What is my out of network deductible amount and has it been met? 
  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session? 

Payment

Credit card, HSA- Health Savings Account card, & debit cards are accepted for payment.   

Session fees are due at the time of the service.

Cancellation Policy

If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay a cancellation fee. 

Good Faith Estimate Notice

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.  You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.  Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.  Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. "Message frequency may vary. You may receive up to 2 SMS messages per week regarding your Customer Care and Account Notifications."

4- Potential Fees for SMS Messaging:

Please note that standard message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier’s pricing plan. These fees may vary if the message is sent domestically or internationally.

5- Opt-In Method:

You may opt-in to receive SMS messages from Michelle Hobby Psychological Services in the following ways:

  • By submitting an online form
  • By sending a text to Michelle Hobby Psychological Services

6- Opt-Out Method:

You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time. To do so, simply reply "STOP" to any SMS message you receive. Alternatively, you can contact us directly to request removal from our messaging list.

Additional Options:
