She maintains a private practice in Southlake, TX (& surrounding communities), as well as teletherapy for patients residing in CA, PA, TX, & participating PSYPACT states.
With over 25 years of experience in the field of mental health, and as a graduate of California School of Professional Psychology, she is currently serving as private practitioner and licensed Clinical Psychologist working with a broad spectrum of women's mental health needs and emotional well-being.
Dr. Hobby's professional background is extensive and diversified, encompassing work in numerous mental health centers, university counseling centers, substance abuse program at Kaiser Permanente, and private practices in California , Pennsylvania, and Texas. She has worked with individuals and families (adults, children, adolescents), as well as provided group and couple's therapy.
Dr. Hobby is an experienced, interactive, caring, and collaborative Psychologist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support, guidance, and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges as well as come to an understanding of past life difficulties. She integrates evidence based treatments and individualized techniques specific to each patient's clinical and support needs.
